ITEXPO 2015 held in Anaheim, California was full of impact and innovation, as well as previews into the future of cloud-based communications technology. During the event, which was held from October 5-8, industry leaders were able to share exciting news such as new product launches and mergers and acquisitions.
Most notably IntelePeer, the industry renowned cloud-based communications provider, revealed that it recently acquired Advantone, a cloud-based contact center solutions provider, to create a robust and centralized product offering unlike anything on the market today.
By integrating IntelePeer’s cloud communication services with Advantone’s cloud contact center solutions, the companies bring the power and simplicity of complete contact center management and communications solutions. Together, the cloud-based service providers integrated robust call center features delivered as a SaaS model to meet their customers’—that range from pharmaceutical, to retail, to direct response— most pressing business communications needs.
“As we evaluated the market and searched for partners that would work best with us, we sought out Advantone,” said Frank Fawzi, President and CEO of IntelePeer. “This partnership enabled us to create a very powerful platform that will best service our customers and expand our portfolio.”
Fawzi also noted that Advantone intrinsically possessed the functionality and feature set best suited to integrate with IntelePeer’s already powerful cloud platform. As such, choosing Advantone as a partner was a no brainer.
“Our clients are very excited because this is a very positive move for us,” said Nicolas Dourassoff, Chief Executive Officer of Advantone. “They can see the synergies between our two companies as a benefit. Coming together opens up the possibility for continued innovation and research.” In other words, IntelePeer and Advantone are ideally suited to each other and have successfully created a product which can pivot with the forthcoming needs of contact centers in the areas of analytics, scalability, real-time data and more.
Fawzi and Dourassoff spoke of the product as a truly multitenant cloud-based solution. More specifically, it is a one stop shop that companies can leverage for complete contact center management and communications solutions. SIP trunking, high definition voice, Toll Free, E911, interactive voice response (IVR), call routing, predictive dialing, visual scripting and APIs are all available from one company, now that IntelePeer and Advantone have united.
“This SaaS model can provide deeper integration and business analytics through the information we collect through SIP, call quality, or agent quality to provide critical metrics for contact centers,” said Fawzi. “By adding these capabilities we have the broadest set of APIs in the contact center services and the cloud markets.”
IntelePeer and Advantone are combining network and contact center platforms, and in doing so they opened up the opportunity to innovate in exciting ways, from launching multi-channel communications services for contact centers to integrating services like SMS, email, video and chat. What’s more customers can leverage the broadest set of APIs to develop their own customer applications or ad hoc reporting.
IntelePeer and Advantone are certainly positioned for a future of innovation and collaboration. Read more about the recent partnership by clicking here.
