Scheduling agent
A scheduling agent is a contact center or customer service representative responsible for setting up appointments and reminders for users’ upcoming appointments or meetings. Unlike other events within a user’s CX journey, appointment scheduling is one of the easiest to automate due to its lack of complexity.
AI agents specializing in appointment scheduling can recommend dates, times, and locations by accessing databases with information about availability. Appointment reminders can also be automated to decrease no-show rates and maximize the productivity of staff members.
