Helping our customers by lending a virtual hand

To Our Valued Partners and Customers:

As we start another week of our new normal, it’s hard to believe how much has changed in such a short amount of time. While it’s easy to get wrapped up in the news and have your survival instinct kick in remember to take time for yourself, stay connected with loved ones, and do what you can to help out your community.

As mentioned in my last letter, our team has been sharing uplifting content through our IntelePeer WhatsApp group, our new “Virtual Water Cooler.” One of these messages included an inspirational video from an IntelePeer employee’s family member.  The video is below and was created by Philip Stanforth, a professor at The University of Texas at Austin, with the purpose of providing words of encouragement to his students as they transition to an online education. Professor Stanforth shares the story of his own father who served in World War II.  The life lessons his father gained from this experience set a great example on how to persevere in this time of uncertainty. It is a powerful message, and I encourage you to listen to it as it has left a lasting impression of determination and courage on myself and the rest of our team. It inspires us to look for the good in things even when our current circumstances are turned upside down.

And what we see today are many inspiring examples of good deeds by people and businesses. Not only in the selflessness of our healthcare workers, grocery store employees, and other essential workers, but in our communities extending a (virtual) hand to one another. We’ve also heard a lot of great stories about how our customers are using our products for the greater good. In these times of crisis, any act that spreads positivity, helps a business support their customers, or contributes to the fight against this pandemic should be celebrated.

Which is why I’d like to take a moment to acknowledge one of our customers that is going above and beyond to make a positive impact. We’re proud of our long-time customer, Bauer Hockey, who has switched its focus from manufacturing hockey equipment to producing face shields for healthcare workers. We are grateful to have been able to assist them with this new initiative by quickly building a new advanced multi-lingual IVR to help them effectively manage meeting the avalanche of inbound demand for the face shields. Instead of the Bauer team having to directly manage the significant increase in inbound inquiries, our solution offloads that workload with automation and information about the product.

What plans are you putting in place to help your employees and communities through this difficult time? No matter what your challenge is, we’re here to help make your ideas a reality and get you back to business. Our platform delivers automation, voice, messaging, AI, and easy-to-implement applications, and our team is here to provide the expertise to fully build your solution today.

In the meantime, as promised, here is the video created by Professor Stanforth, with his permission to share with all of you:

Stay safe and healthy.

Sincerely,

Frank Fawzi
