[Dave Pruse]
Yeah it’s it’s it’s one of the big buzzwords, right, it’s what everybody’s talking about and on both sides I think as providers and vendors we’re talking about it. I think the partner community it’s a big topic and really with all customers of all sizes it’s it’s being discussed right it’s now, something that everybody feels like they can use.
[Marco Escobar]
And I think that AI’s been around for ages, I mean as long as I’ve been in the industry, but what’s really transitioned is that the average Joe can go and touch it, so a lot of customers are talking it today, right.
[Dave Pruse]
Yeah absolutely and I think it has a a much broader fit because right the different flavors of of AI that have been brought to the market and where we’ve built it into different solutions, right. Now you have natural language processing, and you have text processing, have bots, you have everything that we’re seeing all around everybody’s hearing about. So it’s it’s kind of right become mainstream and it’s part of every technical conversation at this point.
[Marco Escobar]
Yeah but I think that generative AI, for me, the big evolution, the big advantage to our partners and inevitably to their customers is that it’s really shrinking the amount of time to be able to deploy something new into their customers, right.
[Dave Pruse]
Yeah I think it does that for sure and I think the the other side of that is it’s got to fit almost everywhere so it’s part of almost every solution, so it’s more rapid deployment, but it also enables much more, uh if I call it intelligence right, around different solutions or among different solutions and then we should see it.
[Marco Escobar]
Yeah I think the really critical thing that I would say to any partner, and inevitably they should be saying to their customer, is you need to bring somebody in that has that robust knowledge set that can help you deploy it because it’s one thing to go and play and you know type in a question into chat GPT for example, but it’s another thing to really weave it into the customer journey and into the employee journey within your business, right.
[Dave Pruse]
Yeah, yes completely, and I think it’s also important to ask what it means when you have those conversations right with business owners. When they say AI or what AI can do for us whether they really think that is right. We come from a world where I think we do we’re just getting over the the integration period where everybody said I want integrations and we used to say what do you mean by integration what does that mean to you? So even in the AI conversation well there’s a fit in almost every business it’s really important to understand what do they want that fit to be right for each business independently.
[Marco Escobar]
And I think that that’s really the critical thing that we need to talk to our partners about, which is: you are a trusted advisor, but you can’t be everything to everybody and so having a backing of like a Sinch or IntelePeer that have the smart folks that can help keep you at the cutting edge and at the knowledge level that you need to to help that customer evolve their process is critical right.
[Dave Pruse]
Yeah absolutely it is and I think it’s even changing the way we work together. Marco you and I right we work for competitive companies uh, but but it brings even our solutions together. I think AI and just the change in in the industry in general has all of us working closely to say, let’s best, right, come up with a solution to get an end user what they want or a business and that might not be all my solutions, might be not not all yours, right, it’s piece part so now we work together.
[Marco Escobar]
Yeah well Dave it’s been a pleasure getting to chat with you. Um I appreciate you, the audience, for joining us for this Automation Moment talking about generative AI and how it’s really changing the landscape and moving us forward, but also helping us to understand the requirement of working with a great vendor that can help make all those piece parts work together. Dave I appreciate your time.
[Dave Pruse]
Thanks Marco. I appreciate it.
[Marco Escobar]
And we’ll see on the next Automation Moment.
